Tomas will most likely make the team. They say they have a agreement as long as he wasn't poop during preseason and practice he would have a job.

Gilbert is hard to say since he just got here. But most likely if he is cheap gives us another top 4 d-man and if he signs around 1-2 mill it's a good pick up.

And at first I thought Boyes would make the team for sure but I'm starting to not think so.

I think you may need someone like Thomas and Gilbert. I have no idea what Boyes can give, I feel like Taveras was a big reason Boyes but up some solid numbers last year.

Boyes needs to be paired with huberdeau or flash if he is going to do anything. And I really don't see him breaking into our top 6 if versteeg is good to go. I hope he can find something with us we need goal scoring bad! Thomas will be on the team because he only has to beat out Clemmer and he is terrible.

And really hoping huberdeau lines up with Barkov and flash that line would be crazy!

A veteran who can score 20 goals. Guys like him to don't give it 100% in pre-season. Why should he? Have you been to the practices? He's out there coaching our younger guys. He's the type of player we need. He can be a 2nd/3rd line guy who can score some goals, provide leadership, and make a difference in any one game.


Plus, Versteeg is iffy right now and Bergenheim def won't be playing when the season opens.

Brad boyes is sick, whoever doesnt know that isnt a big hockey fan. Upshall is terrible and I hope he gets traded in the pre season. Boyes is def going to be playing the top 6 all year. Hes just as good and consistent as fleischmann. Were gonna have a great team this year. The only reason we arent undefeated in the pre season is because thomas hasnt played yet
